Syllabus

Course requirements:

  • Attendance and participation in all classes, weekly readings and questions to be handed in at the end of the class (no exceptions), final paper to be handed in on 12/1/06 (5% penalty for every day you are late)- see Grading for details.
  • It is your responsibility to check the blackboard website 1-2 days before the class for announcements and additional reading materials.

Required Reading:

Class Structure:

  • 1 hour lectures
  • 30 minutes for discussion and answering 3 questions to be handed in at end of class
  • 30 minutes for theme groups to brak out for discussion
  • sign attendance sheet for each class. Please do not sing for another classmate
