Agriculture in the Developing Nations II
 

Syllabus

Assignments & Activities during the India and Thailand Field Trip (specific dates to be announced in November 2007).

1- Reconcile findings from reading assignments and from discussion in INTAG 402. Identify critical issues for class (and theme group) discussion.

2- Informal discussions with theme group colleagues and faculty facilitators.

3- Submit final topic and brief outline for the written INTAG 602 project to theme group facilitator by the beginning of class in January. Apart from the project paper- students will be required to give a one page note with reflecting their experiences

Assignments & Activities on Cornell Campus

1- Attend 2 sessions each week (2 hrs each) from January to March . Attendance is required. If you do not attend class, it will affect your final grade.

2- Meet with theme group members and facilitators (esp. January and at other times to share progress about each team project, and to plan the interdisciplinary theme presentation.)

3- Group project presentations.

Group Project paper due April 2008, no exceptions.
