More than 190,000 Peace Corps Volunteers have been invited by 139 host countries to work on issues relating to education; youth outreach and community development; business development; environment; agriculture; health; HIV/AIDS; and information technology.Peace Corps' mission has three simple goals:Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.Visit our website at ip.cals.cornell.edu/academics/mpspc.cfm or meet with the Peace Corps recruiter located in 13 Warren Hall. If you are over 50 years of age there is a new initiative to attract older Americans into the Peace Corps.
